I have a degree in Zoology and a PhD in Animal Behaviour. Before joining the CBU I worked on various projects in Cambridge, mainly as a data analyst.   I am now an Investigator Scientist in the Executive Processes Group, and my specific focus is with the Cambridge Cognitive Neurosciences Research Panel (CCNRP). The CCNRP is a very special panel of patients interested in taking part in research into brain structure and function. All members of the CCNRP have suffered a non-traumatic, acquired brain injury, mainly as the result of stroke, tumour, or abscess. Many have had a high resolution MRI scan from which the extent of their brain lesion has been hand traced by a neurologist. Access to the CCNRP is open to all meembers of the Cambridge Neuroscience community.   Over the years at the CBU  I have previously worked mainly in the Memory and Perception Group where I was involved in various projects concerning memory and language ability in patients with Alzheimer's Disease, Fronto-temporal and Semantic Dementia. Most recently I was also involved with the  CamCAN: Cambridge Centre for Ageing and Neuroscience Project, a Community-based Healthy Ageing Study.
