My research interests lie in the field of neurobiology of language.
For my PhD, I am employing EEG, MEG, and fMRI methodologies to investigate the time-course and the neural networks underlying speech act processing.
I am also interested in language development and hemispheric laterlisation. For my Master’s thesis I used fNIRS to investigate the neural correlates of dialect perception in 5 month-old infants. http://irs.ub.rug.nl/dbi/4c9b2363a617e
