I have a background in Experimental Psychology, a PhD in Cognitive Psychology, and over the years I have been working in the fields of Cognitive Neuroscience and Clinical Neuroscience in Tübingen (Eberhard Karls University, University Hospital), Rome (Campus Bio-Medico, Santa Lucia Foundation), London (University College London), and now proudly in Cambridge (MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit).
Previously, I have been working on spatial attention, hemispatial neglect, aphasia, neurostimulation, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Now, I am focusing on episodic memory and cognitive control. Currently, I work in Mike Anderson's Lab, where I am the leading postdoc in a project on memory control in clinical populations, I lecture in Functional Neuroimaging, and I supervise PhD students.
I have very broad interests in both Science and Humanities, encompassing different topics and branches of knowledge. I believe that curiosity and creativity are the two very forces that prompt not only Science, but human development in general.
