My research examines risk and protective factors for the relationship between digital media and mental health. I am particularly interested in cognitive differences and how they affect our perception, experience, and outcomes of digital media use. To examine the mechanisms linking digital media use and mental health I am using approaches from the field of computational psychiatry.
