Earlier this year ten women scientists and communicators, featured in the MRC publication Suffrage Science, passed their jewellery heirlooms on at an event on International Women’s Day at the Dana Centre in London. One of the women receiving this recognition was the CBU’s Emily Holmes and MRC has now released a short film in which heirloom recipients including Emily discuss the project with the leading women scientists that nominated them.

Heirlooms will next be passed on at an event on International Women’s Day 2014.
