Dr Matti Stenroos, a post-doc in the Cognition and Brain Sciences Methods group, has been awarded the Young Investigator Award in the category of modelling and methods at the Biomag 2012 conference in Paris. Dr Stenroos develops methods that allow us to estimate electrical brain activity from non-invasive measurements of electric potentials and magnetic fields outside the head, as measured by EEG and MEG, respectively. These methods are fundamental for many researchers using EEG and MEG methodology in cognitive neuroscience.
Congratulations to Matti on this award.
