New Mobile EEG System for At-Home Visits!
Our BINGO team recently obtained a brand new state-of-the-art mobile electroencephalogram (EEG) system! This cutting-edge technology is lightweight, portable, non-invasive and allows researchers to collect high-quality and real-time brain activity outside the confines of traditional laboratory environments.
Pictured below are two of our PhD students, Sam and Carly, testing an experiment. Carly is listening to various auditory sounds while wearing the mobile EEG system allowing Sam to measure the electrical activity of the brain in real-time.

Our goal is to bring this experiment into the real world, collecting EEG scans with participants in the comfort of their own homes. We hope this technology will allow us to expand our outreach with participants and families in the BINGO project.
