Abstract:
In tracing the the origins of the term semantic dementia, it is necessary to draw on three initially separte bodies of neurological and neuropsychological literature: those relating to Pick's disease, progressive aphasia , and semantic memory impairment. The authors cover clinical features, prognosis, radiological findings and experimental aspects of semantic dementia.
