Abstract:
The children's test of non-word repetition provides a measure of phonological memory performance which involves the repetition of pseudo words ranging in length from two to five syllables. Measures of reliability are presented, together with a review of evidence for its validity as a predictor of language development. Normative data are provided suitable for children between the ages of 4 and 9 years.
