Abstract:
In research on human-computer interactions, "scenarios" are frequently described which concretise specific behaviour problems or design issues. The value of the scenario concept has recently been questioned and this brief note reacts to these criticisms. It defends both the theoretical potential of scenario methodologies and the wider pragmatic use of the scenario concept.
