Abstract:
This booklet describes general principles and specific techniques for helping people with memory impairments. No cures are offered but it is possible to reduce the everyday memory problems faced by people with brain injury. Compensatory techniques, strategies for improving learning, environmental modifications and methods for reducing anxiety and distress are discussed.
