I am a Blavatnik Postdoctoral Fellow at the MRC Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit, University of Cambridge, working with Dr Ajay Halai and Professor Matt Lambon Ralph. My research uses advanced neuroimaging and machine learning approaches, such as nnU-Net, to evaluate automated lesion segmentation and predict behavioural outcomes after stroke. The aim is to advance our understanding of brain–language relationships and support better prognosis and rehabilitation for stroke survivors with aphasia.

As the sister of a person living with aphasia, I have personal experience of its impact on everyday life and on families. This perspective deeply informs my research and my commitment to the wellbeing of people affected by stroke. I am passionate about research that addresses the priorities of people with aphasia and their families, with the goal of making a meaningful difference to communication, participation and quality of life.

More broadly, I am interested in language recovery, brain plasticity, and the integration of neuroimaging and computational methods to support personalised rehabilitation.
