I am interested in the functional architecture of core multiple demand (MD) regions which support complex cognition and general intelligence in the human brain. In particular, my research focuses on how these core MD regions interact with surrounding information processing areas during cognitive tasks which place considerable load on the MD system. I investigate these relationships by using behavioural tasks in conjunction with functional MRI.
