Abstract:
This short article reviews the history of and current knowledge about the syndrome of semantic dementia. Specific sections touch on semantic dementia inthe context of other related syndromes, the neuropathology of the condition, and some theoretical issues in cognitive processing to which semantic dementia is particularly germane.
