Abstract:
The objective of the AMODEUS project was to develop interdisciplinary methods and concepts for studying interactions between users and systems. It also explored the ways in which such methods and concepts might best serve the needs of interface designers. The project developed cognitive models of users, formal representations of system behaviour, and means of refining them into more detailed interactive system architectures. It also developed specific representations to support design decision making. The final report of this project includes an overview and eight sections detailing the main findings from each research area.
