The ecological validity of neuropsychological assessment after severe brain injury.

This chapter describes the nature of neuropsychological assessment within the context of ecological validity and considers some existing tests which have proved to be ecologically valid. The remainder of the chapter discusses some recently developed ecological assessments for patients surviving head injury.
