Maternity, Adoption and Maternity Support Policies
All MRC employees are entitled to enhanced maternity or adoption pay. This is made up of 26 full pay followed by 13 weeks statutory pay.
Additionally all MRC employees are entitled to enhanced maternity support pay (paternity pay) of two weeks full pay.
All employees regardless of length of services are entitled to this enhanced level of maternity, adoption and maternity support pay.
My Family Care
My Family Care offer emergency back up child and dependent adult and elder care as well as school holiday cover.
The MRC fund 6 sessions per employee per year, and these can be used at any time.
Breast Feeding and Nappy Change facilities
We have a designated fully locking room for mothers who would like to breast feed or express milk on site.
We have baby changing facilities in both male and female toilets.
We offer a wide range of options in regards to your working hours. Many of our employees working adjusted, compressed, flexible or part time hours to fit in with caring commitments.
We have also designated 9.30 am- 3.30 pm as ‘core hours’, in which key meetings should be arranged.
We have a large number of parents at CBSU, and throughout the year we host a number of events such as a summer BBQ, Science Night and Christmas tea, where we encourage everyone to bring their families along.
